I am Gabrielle Augustine from Beaumont, Texas and currently studying interior design at Louisiana State University. Welcome to my portfolio, where I showcase the work I have done at LSU. WORK EXPERIENCE

Intern

PBK Architects

Worked closely with their interior designers
Worked on floor finish plans in Revit, elevations in Illustrator, and finish boards.
Site visits to Angleton Elementary and Junior High and CyFair ISD VPAC and Admin building

Intern

The Labiche Architectural Group

Edited floor plans and drew interior elevations using AutoCAD.
Selected interior finishes for the following projects:
- Galveston City Hall, Jerry Ware Terminal Beaumont, TX, Lamar University basketball film room, Hardin County Courthouse and Jail, City of Daisetta New Community Center, Family Services of Southeast Texas
Obtained measurements out in the field, noted areas needed for repair, and discussed options with the clients.

Space planning using AutoCAD, assisted with design installations, selected finishes, assisted in design presentations, learned and implemented all phase of the design process.

Spectrum Fitness and Medical Wellness

Answer phone calls, greet customers, engage customers to determine their needs, assist customers as needed.
Maintain a safe and sanitary facility.

Gymnastics Coach

Beaumont Gymnastics Academy

Trained levels 1-7 competitive gymnasts on bar, beam, vault and floor skills for USAG competitions.
Monitored conditioning and core strength development of gymnasts.
Assisted other coaches with recreational classes as needed.

Painted vibrant and colorful murals on the school walls.

Healthcare Design Conference

Assisted facilitators during the Designing Equitable Experiences in Health Care workshop with technology used in group collaborations.

United Way Food Drive

Distributed food boxes to families who have been financially impacted by the pandemic.

Bernard Terrace Elementary Book Fair

Passed out refreshments to students and their parents at the book fair

Kid’s Orchestra Dia De Los Muertos

Assisted with fun activities for the kids at the Day of the Dead celebration

- Intro to Revit
- Learned the basics of Revit and was able to make a set of construction documents and basic renderings using Enscape.

- Learned the different elements of color and how they are affected by light.

- Learning ways to be environmental friendly while design and also being informed about how design can affect the environment negatively.
